Since the Concern Challenge department took off in 2002 hundreds of people have had the opportunity to experience a trip of a lifetime by trekking through the Himalayas in Nepal, taking in the extraordinary sites of Peru or marvelling at the Great Wall of China.
Due to the demand from people wanting to experience more adventures the Concern Open Challenges has been introduced, and by working with very experienced organisations it has enabled us to introduce more destinations around the world.
Even though the concept between the Challenges and the Open Challenges is the same i.e. a fundraising target will be set and proceeds will go to Concern Worldwide, the actual groups that will be attending the Open Challenges adventures will include people who are raising money for various charities and not solely for Concern Worldwide.
