Running Events

A fantastic and easy way to raise money for Concern is through a sponsored walk/run. These can be as small as 2km walk/run in your town, or as big as an international event like the New York Marathon. Walks and runs are constantly organised throughout Ireland and the UK, so check out which are of interest to you.

SIGN UP WITH CONCERN TODAY AND TAKE THE 10K CHALLENGE IN AID OF HAITI

The Flora Women’s Mini Marathon is the biggest single fundraising event in the country and indeed is the biggest women only event in the world. It’s a really brilliant occasion to be part of and it promises to be a fantastic day out for all participants from all over the world.

We have decided to dedicate all the money raised from the Flora womens mini marathon to the Haiti appeal.  We understand that you cannot actually register for your placement until the 3rd of March but why should that stop you from raising vitally needed funds now?  If you are planning on taking part in the biggest women’s event please click here to register with Concern.  This is not an entry into the race but it does mean that we can set you up with your own fundraising page on our website where people can sponsor you now to take on the 10k challenge in aid of Haiti.

All participants must enter either on the official Entry Form which will appear in the Evening Herald every Wednesday and Saturday online at www.florawomensminimarathon.ie from 3rd March 2010. (On-line entries will incur an extra 1euro Bank processing charge).  Once officially registered we can send you out your Welcome Pack with up to date information on Haiti and future support that you will be providing through your fundraising.
